Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise
If you never had the chance to play the original Naughty Bear on console you missed a very excellent and thought-provoking game play experience. Naughty Bear had everything going for it that a serious cult classic requires -- silly and completely gratuitous violence, a narrator so engaging that Fraternities in the Ivy League actually created a drinking game in which shots must be consumed whenever certain words are said, and certain actions take place in the game, and more than that, its focus is this bloody cute little stuffed bear who raises personal h2h violence to new and very creative levels. Yeah, it is that good.
Which is why the news that the sequel has finally arrived has us pretty stoked here in the GU bullpen, and we are eager to give it a go, and stalk through the woods looking for bears upon whom to inflict justice... If you go down to the woods today
actually, don't go down to the woods there's no internet connection there so you won't be able to download Naughty Bear Panic in Paradise from Xbox LIVE Arcade or the PlayStation Network...
Not only can you join Naughty on his quest to wipe out all 36 bears on his hit list from today but you can also get your paws on the first two pieces of downloadable content as well. Relive your favourite 70's horror moments with the Paradise Island Chainsaw Massacre set containing the Bearface mask, costume and chainsaw weapon complete with a unique ultra-kill (priced 240 Microsoft points/ E2.99/£2.39/$2.99)
Get a look at Naughty in all his Chainsaw Massacring glory here:
Fancy something with a bit more weight? The mighty hammer Mjolnpaw (priced 80 Microsoft points/£0.79/E0.99/$0.99) is so ridiculously big that normal bears can't even lift it. Only Naughty Bear can wield Mjölnpaw and make good use of its godly powers.
Panic in Paradise is PEGI rated 12+, ESRB rated E10+ (Crude Humour and Fantasy Violence) and is priced at 1200 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 and E14.99 / £11.99 on PlayStation Network.
