Hitman: Absolution

It looks like the cat is out of the bag, and its holding an AK-47! OK, maybe not an AK-47... What kind of weapon would an Assassin Cat use anyway? We don't know but it's a safe bet that Dexter Baxter, one of the core villains in the upcoming sequel and next entry in the Hitman franchise, Hitman Absolution does. And now that Square has officially announced the voice of Dexter, we know who to call.

In today's PR feed from Square Enix and developer IO Interactive the word was passed that actor Keith Carradine (The Big Bang Theory, Dollhouse) will take on the role of the villainous Blake Dexter, who is a twisted character and maybe the most vicious adversary Agent 47 has faced so far -- and doubtlessly an expert on Cat Assassins.

While IO Interactive officially made the announcement today, declaring Carradine the voice of Blake, the information was previously made available on the actor's IMDB Page, but it is nice to see it officially confirmed by the authoritative source.

Hitman: Absolution is set for release across North America, Europe and PAL territories on November 20, 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.
