When Pendulo studios announced a project to raise money from adventure game fans to help launch a new crowdfunding experience on Gamesplanet Lab (http://www.lab.gamesplanet.com/) the game project turned out to be called Day One, and it is a sarcastic comedy adventure with a thrilling plot -- funny and adult at the same time.

The idea behind appealing to gamers for direct support for the project includes the stated aim to allow Pendulo to remain independent and continue to be innovative in creating games in the adventure genre -- and while the whole process of crowdfunding is both new and increasingly popular, it is also a system that has proven very effective -- and as adventure gamers have come to appreciate the high production values that made Pendulo Studios a recognized leader in the genre, getting behind them to support a new title has appeal.



This time around, Pendulo is offering more than just a game: you have the opportunity to see how Day One is made from the inside with access to polls, exclusive news and assets, a developer's diary, early access to beta versions and additional features to be announced later.

So there you have the 4-1-1 and you did not even need Snoop Lion to tell you it! The project is now open and they now have a bit more than a month left to make Day One a reality -- and while more than 650 backers have joined in supporting the project, they are hoping to as much as double that number... Pendulo says that they really need you all to make this dream come true, and they are asking you to pledge any amount you can and look forward to getting the game in advance, as well as qualifying for some physical rewards.
