Trigger Happy

You knew something like this was coming, right? Well, it is here -- 2XL Games announced today that it is inviting gamers to feed their addiction to first-person shooter games in an interesting new way: shoot while you star in your own FPS video! And yeah, they have an app for that... It is their game called Trigger Happy.
Trigger Happy combines augmented reality technology with the video camera of your Android device so you can create your own military simulation videos. With high-quality weapons system and Hollywood style recordings that can be rendered in real-time, you can use Trigger Happy to make videos of you and your friends recreating your favorite FPS scenarios or make a parody of the silliest in-game dying movements you have ever seen.
The physics-based weapons respond to your motion as you move around in the real world and it has accelerometers that measure motion forces to make your videos look realistic. There is an optional flash support when firing and you can choose from multiple particle effects available. Trigger Happy has an arsenal that can make any gun aficionado happy.
Weapons include:
-- M16A4 rifle
-- Desert Eagle pistol
-- 12 gauge shotgun
-- M249 Saw
-- Browning 50 caliber machine gun (available via In-App purchase)
For only 99 cents you can make all your FPS fantasies come true. You can even make your own action flick that you can easily share via YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. Plus, how can you pass up the chance to shoot your friends?
Check out Trigger Happy at the Android App Market. It requires Android 2.2 and up.
