Magrunner - Dark Pulse

3AM Games and Gamesplanet Lab announced today their game Magrunner - Dark Pulse, an action-adventure mashup of Lovecraftian Horror and a cyberpunk future.
The game is one of the first projects to be launched on Gamesplanet Lab, a new, integrated crowdsourcing and distribution platform for independent game developers. This promising project is open to funding from 4th of July until 18th of August on the project page at http://lab.gamesplanet.com, rewarding those who pre-order the title with exclusive bonuses.
In Magrunner - Dark Pulse, the hero Yoshi and his robotic dog Newton enter the Gruckezber Magtech Challenge, a technology competition drawing contestants from around the world with a 1 million credit grand prize. They soon discover that this friendly game has a much darker purpose behind it. Now only this intrepid duo and Yoshi's mutant mentor Gamaji stand between the earth's survival and eldritch annihilation.
3AM Games is an independent studio comprised of designers and programmers who worked together at Frogwares Game Development. The team collaborated on the celebrated Adventures of Sherlock Holmes series and now continues that legacy, bringing its appetite for action-driven puzzle games to a new setting.
After years of honing games that feature a delicate balance of story and puzzle action in the realm of Sherlock Holmes, they're proud to introduce the world of Magrunner: Dark Pulse, a world where the cosmic horror of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos comes alive in a near-future cyberpunk world on the edge of destruction.
Magrunner has been in development for a year, and 3AM Games is very proud of what the team has accomplished in that short time. But they still have a long journey ahead of them to complete the game. They want to share that journey with gamers, and we're glad to have them along for the ride.
This project will only be funded if at least E100,000 is collected before the 08/17/2012, but gamers who buy-in will, depending upon their level of support, receive bonus stuff, at the following levels:
