Looking for more MAX imum action from your copy of Max Payne 3? Well look past that incredibly lame pun and continue on to the news that the very first Max Payne 3 DLC, titled "Local Justice" is set to go live next week.

Including several brand new multiplayer maps, that include levels taken from Max Payne 3's very own single-player campaign, along with brand new achievements, trophies and Social Club accomplishments for you to beat, this downloadable Max Payne 3 content will bring even more jam-packed shooting smarts to a game that's already positively bursting at the seams with the sounds of falling bullet casings and recently deceased merc bodies.

- 55th Battalion HQ map for all game modes
- The Imperial Palace/Departure Lounge maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer

It's also important for me to add that while it is now penciled in for a July release date, the Max Payne 3 Local Justice DLC was originally planned for a June launch, with developer and publisher of the game, Rockstar, previously stating that very fact in an official press release. However, now, to make up for the minor delay, Rockstar will be offering up the content at a discounted price during its launch week "as a show of appreciation for your patience" - though it will return to its RRP once this launch week discount is over.

The Max Payne 3 Local Justice DLC release date is July 3rd (July 17th for PC) - "available during launch week for a discounted price of 480 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or £4.25 on PSN and PC...after which point it will return to its normal price of 640 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or £5.49 on PSN and PC."

Local Justice is free to those who purchase the Rockstar Pass for 2400 MS Points or £19,99, which grants you access to all future Max Payne 3 DLC for no extra charge.
