Saints Row The Third

Sounding more like an 'adult' film than a giant superpowered game expansion, THQ have announced the 'Enter The Dominatrix' spin-of their madcap gangster sandbox game, Saints Row The Third.

Having only been released in November 2011 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 , Saints Row The Third has already received 15 DLC packs, yet fans are already braying for more Saints Row action.

THQ, happy to oblige, have taken the most popular extra that Saints Row The Third players have been asking for - superpowers - and have begun to develop a giant standalone Saints Row title based on players' comments.

Following on from the events of Saints Row The Third, the "outrageous game concept", titled Enter The Dominatrix, will put you in the shoes of the world's only hope as the war-faring space tyrant, Zinyak, wages war on Earth in an invasion striving to claim dibs on all of our women and take hold of all our natural resources. Zinyak's only worry is The Third Street Saints, the powerful gang of "the biggest badasses on Earth" that you just happen to be part of.

There's a further bizarre twist as Zinyak imprisons the leader of The Saints, forcing you all into a virtual reality where you are less a badass and more...a slave.

Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President, Core Game Production, THQ Inc, says of the Saints Row The Third Enter The Dominatrix title, "Faster than a speeding cyber jetbike, more powerful than a roided-out Luchadore, able to leap flying aircraft carriers in a single bound… That’s the power you’ll find inside the Dominatrix. Use it for good. Use it for evil. Use it for whatever you want. As always in Saints Row, it’s up to you."

All of this sounds completely insane but we'll have more information for you when further details are revealed this Summer.

The Saints Row The Third Enter the Dominatrix release date is Fall, 2012.
