Based upon the successful multi-platform Spike TV reality series Deadliest Warrior which pits two of the most feared warriors civilization has ever known against each other, Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat is a disc-based game/TV show hybrid that combines the popular downloadable console games, Deadliest Warrior: The Game, and Deadliest Warrior: Legends -- including all DLC packs and new game features -- with the exclusive TV show content including never-before-released episodes from all three seasons.

Players are armed with all the characters and weapons from both DW: The Game and DW: Legends, along with a huge arsenal of additional weapons and features found only on disc. Additional game content that is exclusive to DW: Ancient Combat features a Graveyard playable arena and 30 new weapons for the DW: Legends warriors, including a Lochaber Axe’ for historical warrior William Wallace, a 'Monk's Spade' for master strategist Sun Tzu, and a 'Tsonga Battle Axe' for Shaka Zula.

The on-disc version of the games is fully compatible for online play with all of the other downloaded versions. The Deadliest Warrior collection will launch in December of 2011 (exact date TBA) at the RRP of $29.99 USD at North American retailers everywhere.
