If you are an RPG fan it hardly seems possible that you have not at least heard of the Final Fantasy series -- though chances are you have played at least a few of its many titles... Which is one reason why hearing that the folks over at Square Enix have released a remastered and most awesome new version of FFV should get you all fired up!
Now available for PlayStation 3 and the PSP via the PlayStation Network, and priced at just E9.99 / £7.99 we are talking about a very nice bargain on a classic game!
Players will experience all-new CG cinematic sequences exclusive to the PSN edition, and discover the early days of renowned Final Fantasy gameplay with features that include the Active Time Battle system, mini quests, magic summoning and much more.
The story of FFV begins with the Tycoon King who, feeling an irregularity in the air currents, rushed to the Wind Shrine, only to find the Wind Crystal shattering to pieces right before his eyes. In addition to this catastrophe, an enormous meteor had fallen to the ground, causing earthquakes in the surrounding land near Tycoon Castle.
Unbeknownst to them, this event is about to bring four people from different walks of life together on a common journey filled with new encounters and many mysteries, and it is here that the adventure begins!
