Has anyone been watching it?

I was shocked by the outcome of the competition. At the start I expected Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson to win. After the 1st day, I thought Darren Clarke was playing brilliantly and had a great chance if he could maintain the form he produced on the 1st day. Then he collapsed and Woods went out of contention completely with a few poor rounds of golf before eventually produced a good round- still poor by his high standards.

I was surprised to see two inexperienced players, Mike Weir and Len Mattiace came through to lead the chasing pack, but not surprised that Weir actually won because he played consistently well throughout. I still expected Mickelson to come through but he didn't come close.

A pretty good tournament and one I enjoyed very much.

I was glad to see Mike Weir win. Seeing as how I'm Canadian, I was rooting him the whole way through.

Weir's not that inexperienced. He's been golfing for a few years now, and at the start of the year, was leading the tour in money earnings for the season. Dropped back to second for a while, but after winning this tournament, he's back at #1.

Im glad Woods didnt win it, hes a ****. Never expected Mickelson to win it this year (altougth hell win the Open later on this year).

I fancied Sergio after a couple of rounds but he dropped back as well. Nice to to see Weir win it, i like to see the underdogs do well.

LDG, do you have a reason that you do not like golf. You must have played and are not very good at it. But what those guys do is hard stuff. You don't necessarily have to like watching it, but you shouldn't hate it.

I have played it and found it terribly boring, i like a sport where i am not just standing around most of the time.

Just because I hate a sport doesn't mean I am no good at it.
When I played it when my dad use to play loads I was pretty good, but obviously I am not as good at the sport anymore because I don't play it and practice its since I found it boring when I played it and have done ever since without needing to play it, i just don't see the point in the game.
