In an ironic twist, The Superstation TBS announced today that Thursday at 8:00 pm ET, which is the original WCW Thunder timeslot, TBS will be bringing back World Championship Wrestling.

wtf? No clue what that means, but... wtf? Old reruns or a WCW brand or what?

Austin

They are just showing Ready to Rumble, It got my hopes up when I heard this too, they should start showing old re-runs, but then I found out about R2R and it was a big shot down, oh well

I saw a Mayhem tape from a few years ago that Zach recorded. The main event was Benoit vs. Bret Hart for the title.

Man that was such an awesome match.

WWE is starting a movie company if I am correct. And they are planning some kind of movie where Fred Durst tries to become a wrestler and The Undertaker is his dad, but I heard that a loooong time ago, and it probally was just a rumor.

I remember posting about that. WWE got a deal with Sony for a movie deal, and Fred Durst was supposed to be a wrestler with a father that hates wrestling 100% and doesn't support his son doing it at all (The Undertaker). Through the movie, there's supposed to be Austin, Rock, as well as other stars or something.

No clue what happened to it, or if it's even still on. It was confirmed, but it looks like it was dropped or something.

Thats semi good though. Austin acting = crap.

But... the new commercial rocks.

Austin: Just doing some homework. (As he's half asleep)
*Austin gets smacked with a chair*
Austin: Hmm, can I have another one of those?
*Austin gets smacked again*
Austin: Thanks.

Heh, Austin's ESPN commercial is pretty good.

And about that movie rumor, it's kinda weird how it was said that Undertaker wuold be 100% against his son being a wrestler because Vince Sr. 100% forbade Vince Jr. to become a wrestler...quite ironic.

Zach
10-04-2003, 03:29 AM
Hmmm, Austin still sucks though :p

Anyway, Vince a wrestler*shurdders*

cactuskind
10-04-2003, 03:33 AM
Heh, who knows? He could have been a classic Hollywood Hulk Hogan!

...HAhahahaahaha...:o

I can just picture Vince now, with the glowing orange leather skin and the receding blonde hair. Lol.

Zach
10-04-2003, 03:38 AM
And McMahonamania could have really taken off! With all the VINNYMANICS!

cactuskind
10-04-2003, 03:39 AM
My god, your so right! Vince McMahon could have been the savior of wrestling! Wait... He is already. With no Vince McMahon, wrestling wouldn't be what it is today.

Glad he did become an owner and not a wrestler...:o

Corpsemourn
10-04-2003, 03:44 AM
Vince could have made it as a nice heel wrestler...just maybe...check his priceless facial expression.

It seems the WWE camera crew is more creative than the WWE writers. That shot just rules ass.

cactuskind
10-04-2003, 04:45 AM
I so gotta agree with that. They caught the picture right as Vince McMahon was looking directly towards the location of the camera with the sadistic, bloodly look he has in it.

Classic. :p

Pacemaker

Five stars to the camera crew.

cactuskind
10-04-2003, 08:03 PM
Heh, the camera crews are better than the writing team. :)

Zach

When I first say that, I was loving it. I was hoping he hit hin like 10 times, then pinned him. That would have so ruled.

Pacemaker
10-04-2003, 09:21 PM
I didn't expect McMahon to actually do something off the ladder like he did. I love him. :(

Heh, yeah. I never thought I'd see McMahon attempt a big bump like that.

cactuskind
10-04-2003, 11:59 PM
Yeah, Linda's no good. She comes back for short gay roles all the time.

Shane owns though, as a wrestler anyway. I don't think he's been in a match where he hasn't taken a huge bump... (Remember Backlash against Blackman? Falls 75 feet to the floor. :))

Zach
11-04-2003, 12:11 AM
Though WWE hypes it way to many feet. Like the 20 foot ladders, which are really only 12 :o

cactuskind
11-04-2003, 12:13 AM
They do have one 20 foot ladder... Well 18 feet, but whatever.

Pacemaker
11-04-2003, 12:48 AM
Nothing will beat the Shane/Angle bump that Shane took there.

He meant to fall through the screen, but it didn't break and Shane really got hurt. So Angle did it again and then finally put him through it. Such a great match. :)

cactuskind
11-04-2003, 12:53 AM
Heh, he didn't get hurt in that match. If you have the sound on loud enough, you can hear Shane say, "I'm okay, do it again." (I have the Top 10 of 2002 DVD, which has the match on it, that's how I know.)

Pacemaker
11-04-2003, 12:56 AM
I know he says it. I was just saying, it did hurt him. :p

I remember when Tori (the man) was with Kane. She was in a pool of mud or some **** against the Kat (Miss Kitty). Tori got hurt when X-Pac interupted, so she said "Pin me! Pin me!"

That was way more obvious than the one that Shane said.

Meh, at one PPV (forget which one), when Rico was on the top and Jeff was supposed to push him off, Jeff forgot. 15 seconds later, Rico yelled out, "Come the **** on Jeff!".

Man, Jeff's a ******.

Austin
11-04-2003, 02:02 AM
No....Jeff has forgotten and quite frankly i would too if i had Trish on my mind....!:D

Corpsemourn

I'd rather have Trish on something else of mine. *cough*

This was like, 4 months ago, when he had nothing to do with Trish... Besides, he doesn't even deserve her right now.

Zach
11-04-2003, 01:06 PM
Thats because she forgot, dumb women. But shes not a wrestler, Jeff is, and he shouldn't forgt stuff like that.

So true. And there was only a few second pause between that, Rico literally waited 15 seconds for Jeff to realize it, and when the dumbass couldn't, he yelled at him to.

cactuskind
12-04-2003, 06:25 PM
Pssh, you talk about people who do it, then when we bring up Jeff Hardy doing it, it's "forgetting is forgetting, lets forget it."? :p

Zach
13-04-2003, 03:52 AM
Why though, Jeff sucks, and he showed it in that match. Man, Matt is so much better.

I think everybody has at one point Pace, not many people like the short 1-3 word replies he gives off a lot of the time.
