GU Wrestling Members

I was thinking because this forum is like number 1 under Chat that the resident Wrestling graphics people should make a very small banner/badge type thing that this forum's supporters can put in their sigs or possibly an avatar that basically says that the wrestling forum is their number one forum.

This will promote the forum pretty well in places like chat etc. Of course you would only give the badge type thing to members who post in this forum on a very regular basis and start topics and also provide info etc.

Or something like that, just an idea to get the ball rolling.

That's a pretty good idea. I know when I was talking to Jords one time on AIM he mentioned something like this, but it never got done.

I'm sure either Jords or myself could make a small little graphic like the GU Vet graphics people have.

There's the actual link to it, imagestation linking is kinda weird.

I was thinking of a graphic that has each person's favorite wrestler on it or something, and at the bottom "Wrestling Member" or whatnot. Once I get home from school, I'll make a graphic to show you what I mean.

Just give people a banner who support this forum, post in it all the time and if asked whats their number one forum, they should put wrestling. If they fit that category, then they should be included.

I am actually trying to work a hack that puts the member's 3 favourite forums as a 1.2.3 list down underneath where their avatar would be.

The 3 fav forums would be either system created, I.e. the system notes the 3 forums that the member frequents the most. Or user entered, that way the member can enter in their top 3.

There's been plenty. In ring wrestling wise, I'd probably say AJ Styles vs. Low Ki vs. Jerry Lynn, singles and ladder. They kept the crowd entertained in both those matches through the entire thing, showing people moves they've never seen before. Not one dull moment in either of the matches. Not to mention that they had that match when Styles and Low Ki wern't as big as names as they are now.

As far as wrestling/chemistry going, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels put on some great matches, as well as Kurt Angle/Benoit and Benoit/Jericho.

I downloaded that Ladder Match this past weekend and yes it is one of the best matches I have ever seen. I really never saw Low Ki in a good performance because the only match I saw him before that was when he teamed up with Elix Skipper, Mike Sanders and Vince Russo and fought the LOD, JJ, and Dusty Rhodes, so he didn't get to show off his skills.
