I was watching the score waiting for Smackdown to come on and they had an about ten minute interview with Undertaker, who they called Mark Calloway a number of times throughout. They talked about a lot of wrestlers knowing Taker to be the backroom leader and he says he thinks they see him as that because of him being there for 13 years. He said he hopes that they recognize the info he gives them needs to be taken seriously.

They talked about "the lean years" for the WWE (early to mid 90's) and said that even with Hulk Hogan there, Taker is the only one to really keep stuff old school (or try to at least). He was asked who helped in the lean years to keep the WWE a success and he only mentioned one name, Bret Hart.

He says some guys he feels sorry for some young guys because they don't have the psychology to work a good match so they have to do big bumps and take extreme risks He said he also feels sorry because a lot of them didn't have "the luck" of coming up in the indies and learning like he did and that they were not as lucky because they basically came from wrestling camps straight to performing in front of 30,000 people a night (Taker miscounted obviously).

He was asked about internet sites and net fans and basically said they were a joke. He gave the classic don't trust the net speech but he said there were a couple of good sites that were run by fans but the sites should remember that they are only that "fans", so they don't know anything about a quick fix for how wrestling can be fixed or who should be pushed. When asked about WWE's downturn he replied that he has been around long enough to know that because the economy's messed up that the business will be too. He said it's not because of a lack of good talent because, "Lord knows these boys have heart and talent and give it there all". He said he expects that when the economy's better, then so will the WWE be. All in all he sounded a lot smarter then all of the other interviews I've seen (HHH, Flair, Bischoff and Michaels).

I caught the end of that segment before SmackDown came on here in Canada, where he was talking about the Internet fans, and I think it's a crock of ****. We don't know who should be pushed? Excuse me, were the one's who watch the product, if the people we think should be pushed get pushed, that's just all the more ratings WWE will get. I don't think Undertaker gets the point that it's the fans that make wrestling. We made him too. If we never chanted or boo'd him to get over his heel or face gimmicks, he'd be nothing today.

I just lost quite a bit of the respect for the Undertaker I still had left. :o

Yeah, I don't like the Undertaker at all anymore. What an asshole.

The only way I could like him again is if he went Phenom. :(

But he likes his Badass gimmick, and WWE is stupid. It will never happen. :(

Meh, Taker should realize nobody likes his Badass biker gimmick. :o

I dont think Undertaker should be pushed anymore.

hahaha, joking.

I say let him have his opinion he's just cut up inside because he's not the number one dog like in the dark days.

Internet people are the same as the fans that don't get on the Internet though. We just voice our opinions more. The friends I have that don't get on the internet and still watch wrestling have the same opinions as I do, so by Undertaker dissing Internet fans, he dissed all WWE fans.

The difference between regular marks and internet fans is that internet fans have a broader voice and it's much harder to ignore us. And that screws with WWE.

Ah, don't we love screwing with the WWE, though?

Good thing I discontinued watching wrestling in 2001. I watched wrestling for 15 years and in the year 2001, I said, "enough". It got boring and stupid. Nothing was changing and I've spoken to fans and they said that some wrestlers that they met use their in-ring persona when they meet fans. Bravo, losers :wrong:  (no offence to any wrestling fans).

I had a site on the "pu**y-a**" for a few years. I had over 25,000 hits. One day, I woke up and said, "you're boring me. You and the whole business. Time for me to grow up." I felt that I was foolish and young (that's my opinion on how I felt like). I wanted a change, so I got it. I feel more free now, like a HUGE weight was lifted off my shoulders.

With a smart a** comment like that, dissing you internet fans, makes me wonder why many still watch wrestling. No respect at all to you guys. I'm sorry you had to read something so childish like that. :( *hugs signed picture of Vincent Corazza :D *

Like some have said: if it wasn't for you guys, he'd be nothing in the world of wrasslin'.

Heh, I still watch it because I need a vass knowledge of it, because believe it or not, or no matter how many people say it's 'bull****', it's the profession I'm making out to be.

Since I've got the Dungeon here, which is the best wrestling training camp in the world, I'm going there when I graduate. Since I've got the quickness to be a cruiserweight, and the size, I can make myself good in the cruiserweight league, and me being on the Football, Wrestling, Track and Rugby team, that is just an advantage to me.

Woo. :)

A few years later... you're still not grown up. ;)

I still am immature at times. I've grown up but not much, but I meant I've grown up from wrasslin'.

I still watch wrestling and I always will, because it is something I enjoy. I enjoy watching certain people, and I am in awe for some even. And it is something I seriously want to consider. Being that both CZW, RoH, and XPW take place in Phili, which isn't that far from me, I am thinking about going to college down in that region, and also try to be a commentator of something, or work backstage, even if it is as small as someone who just cleans up stuff at first.

How old are you again, I had no idea you had been through all that, 15 years of watching wrestling and owning websites and stuff. Any other interesting life moments you want to share?

I am going to be 23 this August. I began watching wrestling when I was 6, back in the day where no one knew anything and that it was fine for young kids to watch and not have to see anything overly violent, anything overly sexual, or anything overly vulgar.

The women back then didn't flaunt themselves by wearing anything overly revealing, unless they were wrestling. Look at Miss Elizabeth. She didn't need to show off her body. She didn't need to do anything over the top to have men drool at her. I mean, guys did. She's lovely. :) She was one of the few women back then that had female fans respect her and admire her.

Now, to me, it seems like the WWE "Divas" are showing the young females that looking sexy and acting it is fine. Young kids go to these shows and young kids watch these shows. That's fine, but I just hope and pray that they know the difference between reality and fantasy. There's nothing wrong with the adult women in wrestling acting sexy. If they got it, then that's fine.

Look at what's being shown to young girls these days. "Big boobs are the way to go!!" No they're not. I have a large chest (natural), and believe me, it's not all sh*ts and giggles. I'm not saying ALL young girls are following the "look sexy" trend, but there's a large percentage of them.

I had over 300 pictures of the "bada**" on my wall. Man!! Throwing them away was a release for me. My wall that the head of my bed is against was FULL of him. I've had figurines of him, the "Punch 'Em" (or whatever they're called) buddy of him, two games for the PSX, three t-shirts of him, and a ball cap. I also had a wrestling game that came in a tin box. Only thing I have left to sell are the PSX games. I had other things, too, but I can't remember what.

Hence why I don't post in anything wrestling-related anymore. I just wanted to say something here because he dissed you people. Good thing I discontined watching wrestling.

Guess what, Faker?? My favourite Canadian actor is FLATTERED that I have a site on him!! Grow up and respect what fans you have left. I know people who disrespect you and loathe you. Vincent sent ME a signed picture of himself FOR FREE. :D

May you all enjoy posting about your wrestling. I do not disrespect any of you. :)

Concerning REC's post.

I'm 14 going on 15 in October. I seen probably every PPV event the WWF(/E) have had. I spend most of my time downloading wrestling from various sources. A few years back (About 3 years ago) I did have my own wrestling site but due to me being busy I couldn't keep it open. Plus, although it's unrealistic (me being from Ireland and all) one of my goals is to train to become a wrestler and have at least one match in the US or Canada.

That'd be tight... Samurai vs. Cain.;) (For those that wern't in XWF, you'll have no clue what I'm talking about.)

I used to have a website back around 3 years ago too, although it never really took off. I spent about $200 on layout and webspace, but due to an unexpected move to another city, I shut down operations on it and sold the layout.

Sure, Samurai vs. Cain, but not me. :(

Pure technicians never get off the ground. If somebody can work like Kurt Angle and do the high flying moves of AJ Styles, he'd be the best... ever.:o

A...J...STYLES...

Anyway, Zach, who's spamming? It was on topic. Also, REC goes to this forum. If there was spam... REC would stop it!

Cain was a pretty owning CAW. And if it were possible Samurai vs. Cain would be so cool. We'd be the main event and Zach would be announcing and Pace being some jobber in the first match of the night losing to Jeff Hardy.

Pace wouldn't even be involved in the show... He'd be wrestling dark matches or pre-show matches for the people who are all coming to the arena to sit down. Most wouldn't even be watching cause they couldn't care less. Watch the crew set up the titantron and set over the wrestling match... :)
