ok, time to boast about your achievments so far on CM4..
well, im currently Cardiff and have just won promotion to the premiership. yes, i did gain successive promotions from second to first, to prem..
4-3-1-2
GK : Alexander (although i may have to replace him with a premiership worthy keeper..)
DL : Di Cesare (quality both at back, and gives attacking options aswell..)
DC : Gabbidon (welsh wizzard..)
DC : Lucic (got him on a free..hes pretty good for me too..)
DR : Xavier (just got him on a free aswell..)
MC : Brown (yes hes a piggy *******, but im cardiff so that dosnt really matter..)
MC : kavanagh (quality midfielder..)
MC : Ross (15 year old and hes amazing..)
ATM : Motta (had him on loan for past two seasons..might have to sign him now i have the money..)
FW : Kabba (div 2 = 46 games, 44 goals. div 1= 42 games, 39 goals..)
FW : Zamora ( div 1= 34 games, 40 goals..)
my aim for the coming season is to just stay up.. although a mid table finish would be nice. I have a decent squad, and have kicked ass in the past 2 divisions..but the prem is a different kettle of fish..

you sold Rob Earnshaw?? that man would have kept you in the prem without a doubt ;)
im Newcastle at the moment, 4th in the league halfway through the first season, only made one big signing, Darren Ambrose. Shearer has about 20-odd, Bellamy and Ameobi 15 each, comfortable in the second phase of the Champions League too.
oh, and about Brown, being Cardiff is still no excuse ;) never in my champ careers have i even considered purchasing a blue nosed ******* so neither should you with a Sheff Utd player.

If I had it I'd be the Perth Glory. That is, if the Aussie league is in the game, which I think it is.

1) i didnt sell Earnshaw. He scored 34 in 36 for me in second div..but he was very dissapointing in div 1 so i bought zamora who is class. Earnshaw is on the bench.
2) normally i wouldnt buy brown, or kabba for that matter but a friend (pig) asked me to check them out for him. I didnt want to be the pigs (unless for sabotage purposes ;)) so i just bought them both.
3) The Australian league is in the game. even the bloody indian league is in it..among with plenty of other strange leagues ;).

I am Sunderland... yes, you've guessed it.
My first signings have been loan deals because the Board are ****s and have severley limited my buying power by giving me an extremely small wage budget. I have tried to sell players but I haven't managed to do so.
I certainly will not have enough to win the league this season but I'll be in with a chance in the cups if I stop getting injuries. I have got six defenders and three midfielders injured at present and the season hasn't ****ing started yet (I am still in pre-season).
The loan signings are quality players though. Petrov (from Celtic) and Brett Emerton (from Feyernood). These two will strengthen the squad for sure. Emerton is very versatile, can play at right sided defence or midfield, centre back or centre midfield, while Petrov is a flamboyant attacking midfielder.
I am playing a 4-3-1-2 formation, fully modified for maximum effect with a few interesting variations, with Petrov as the 1, just behind the two strikers. Sunderland have quite a lot of decent midfielders so no-one is guaranteed a first team start, apart from perhaps Reyna. Emerton is the only good right back in the squad so he'll play there until Darren Williams and Stephen Wright come back from injury. Tore Andre Flo looks in good form and he actually tries to play football (unlike real life)
Oh yeah, I did sign two players who were on unprotected contracts- Barry Thornton- a 15 year old striker from Coventry with a high strength rating and Ryan Steadman- a promising defender.

ive just started a new league with Doncaster Rovers. I tried to sign that Barry Thornton but he didnt want to move to a lower divison. Hes only 14 when you first start. im currently 9th in the league. ive had a bit of an inconsistent start but im not too far off a playoff spot. theres about 2 points that seperate 12th from 3rd though..so if i put a bit of a run on i should be OK. barnet and chester are running away with it though..lol.
ill not bore you with my team line-up untill nxt season when i will sign some different players on bosmans.
